Students in the Cosmetology Program are taught the basic foundation of cosmetology with courses in anatomy, sculpting and cutting, shampooing, grooming tools, sanitation and hygiene. CCTC’s instructors and facility provide you training that is unparalleled in the industry. Advanced courses cover the methods and products involved in changing hair texture, color, skin care, nail care and makeup application.
In only twelve months students can earn a diploma in Cosmetology studies and prepare for state licensure. Students learn fundamentals of cosmetology under the directions of a skilled licensed instructor.
This program is the study of the basic principles of cosmetology that prepares students to meet all the requirements necessary to pass the Virginia Board for Cosmetology Licensure Examination and obtain gainful employment in the field of Cosmetology.
